The 1977 Formula One season was the 31st season of the FIA's Formula One motor racing. It featured the 28th World Championship of Drivers and the 20th International Cup for Formula 1 Constructors, which commenced on 9 January 1977, and ended on 23 October after seventeen races, making it the longest Formula One season in the sport's history at the time.

1986 omkom de Angelis och Bernie sålde stallet som sedan gick i konkurs 1992. Bilen är en engelskbyggd RP24 och den har efter många års vila renoverats till samma skick som den var 1977. Förutom silvermedaljen i EM vann Bo även Wang pokalen i Sverige. Bilen kommer att köra på Anderstorp av före detta Formel 3-föraren Hans Nordén, men först kommer Bo Martinsson att avtäcka bilen under en högtidlig ceremoni.

The F1 race died with them as corporate Sweden lost interest in supporting an event with no home stars. After intially being included on the F1 calendar, it was quietly dropped forever. The Motorcycle Grand Prix had also briefly departed to Karlskoga in 1977 and '78, but by 1980 Anderstorp assumed it place on the FIM calendar.
